Season one of "Smash" was all about who would play Marilyn; Karen or Ivy. The role was swapped back and forth and back and forth. The episode that airs March 19, 2013 will reveal who will be locked into the role... the contenders are still Ivy and Karen (who both have other projects they are working on). If one were to guess the winner would be Karen, after all Ivy is committed to Camille - but as we have learned anything can happen on "Smash".
According to an article published at TV Line March 19, 2013 Tuesday night's episode is the first of the last three that will air on Tuesday night and the show will then be moved to Saturday night April 6, 2013.
"Smash" is scheduled to debut on Broadway in the April 20, 2013 episode so fans at home will be watching the behind the scenes dress rehearsal and previews fly by, and after last season's tech comments there will be very little of this making the cut. However, it is important to note that April 20th is a long way off to the season finale so there will be much more in store for fans that is unknown.
One thing we do know, Ivy will be getting a love interest - the thing we don't know is the who (which we are dying to find out).
