USA- For those of you who are addicted to SMASH the story that includes the making of a Broadway musical "Bombshell", NBC and Columbia Records have released the music that tells the whole journey. The songs have been performed out of order for the TV show SMASH to tell the back stage story of making a Broadway musical, but now they release the entire "Bombshell" musical in its' correct show order.
The new season of SMASH, "Bombshell" and its' stars are one step closer to that big stage as conflict comes from a rival rock musical that could compete with their placement within the producing Broadway season. One of the seasons hottest TV shows SMASH releases the soundtrack for the musical within a musical "Bombshell". The 22 original songs features SMASH star Kathrine McPhee (Karen), Megan Hilty (Ivy Lynn) and the other cast performing the music created for the musical within a musical by Tony and Grammy award winning duo Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman.

The new songs released from "Bombshell" also includes songs by Christine Ebersole, Bernadette Peters, Will Chase, Nick Jonas, Christian Borle, Jamie Cepero, Phillip Spaeth, Uma Thurman, Henry Stram, Wesley Taylor, Lesli Odom, Savannah Wise, Kathrine McPhee and Megan Hilty.
A bonus CD includes an interview with songwriters Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman, "SMASH"- Jane Krakowski, "Never Give All The Heart" - Megan Hilty and "Second Hand White Baby Grand" - Christine Ebersole.
