Oklahoma City fans love a good country song and this week 'Smash' on NBC will give them that to enjoy! Katherine McPhee goes country as she sings 'Redneck Woman' by Gretchen Wilson on the show. 'Smash' airs on February 20, 2012 at 9:00 pm CST in the Oklahoma City area. Taste of Country shared the clip today.
You can see the video on the left and it looks like Katherine is out with friends enjoying some karaoke. Her voice is far from something you expect to see at a karaoke bar though. At the start, she has a bit of trouble with the words, but just keeps going.
Katherine really starts to get into the song dancing on the stage and having a good time. Her friends are going wild in the crowd standing up and dancing right along with her country song. About half way through the song, she talks them into joining her on the stage.
She has on a necklace that looks like it is from a baby shower with a pregnant friend sitting in the front row. This must her last night out on the town before having her little bundle of joy.
