"Smash" aired an all-new episode on Channel 12 in Tempe last night. On Tuesday, March 12, Spoiler TV shared the photos for the next episode, "Smash" episode 2.07 titled "Musical Chairs." On the episode teased in these new photos, several characters are having to adjust to their new surroundings, and things are about to boil over with Ivy's current production. However, Eileen is focused on saving "Bombshell," and she might have found a way to do it. She will need her daughter's help. Grace Gummer will return to the series as Eileen's daughter.
As for the series, it has developed the reputation as the show people hate to watch, and Megan Hilty spoke about that in a new interview with TV Fanatic released on Tuesday. She said the following:
"First of all, at least they’re watching! And, second, whenever people lump our show with the other shows that they hate watching I really like those other shows so it’s good to be in their company. But, really, I could care less. I have the greatest job in the world and I’m so lucky to get to do that every day and that’s all I focus on. Whether love to watch the show or love to hate watch the show, at the end of the day, I’m obsessed with my job and I’m glad people are watching."
Production on season two of "Smash" has recently wrapped, and there is no word from NBC on a third season of the series yet. Fans are buzzing about this series on social media. One fan said the following on Twitter recently:
