"Smash" will air an all-new episode tomorrow night on Channel 12 in Tempe. On Saturday, Feb. 23, Spoiler TV shared the first photos released for "Smash" episode 2.05 titled "The Read-Through." Sean Hayes is once again sharing the small screen with Debra Messing. The actor will make his first appearance on this series in the episode teased in these new photos. He will play the co-star of Ivy in her new production, and she will not be too sure about him. Karen will not be too sure when it comes to the new man in her life either. Jimmy and Kyle will have some nerves when it comes to the first reading on their musical, "Hit List."
In an interview with BFTV, Jack Davenport also spoke more about the series and what he is enjoying about this second season. He said the following, according to the site:
"One of the pleasures of doing long-form TV is that characters develop. You come into a second year [and] you’ve established certain things about a character. In the first season, whatever comes down the pipe, you’re like, ‘Okay.’ Who’s to say who’s right and who’s wrong?"
Davenport is the actor behind Derek on the series. Fans are buzzing about this series on social media. One fan said the following on Twitter recently:

"Smash" will continue to air on Channel 12 in Tempe on Tuesday nights.
