During these formative years, the early foundation of teaching, learning, and socialization take place. From the ages of 1 up through 4, any positive reinforcement of essential skills ranging from reading, writing, speaking, physical activity, and interaction with peers (and others) serves as a critical launching point for many a youngster.
The team at the Decatur-based Smart Toddlers understands this, and with their forthcoming October 18th date (from 7-10pm), they are putting the challenge down to parents and other concerned individuals in the community.
Are you smarter than a smart toddler?
Through its Team Trivia event next Friday, the immediate community is invited to participate in their family-themed event which takes place at All Souls Fellowship. With a focus on providing funding to purchase playground equipment, this supports its physical fitness, health, and wellness programming for the pre-school aged children served.
Tickets for the event are $20 per person and include heavy appetizers and a beverage. As an added bonus, for the trivia portion (hosted by Chuck Bryant), there is a $5 raffle for the opportunity to spend a week away at an Orlando (FL) timeshare.
Fun and interactive learning is the order of the day for the event as well as the day-to-day experience for the pre-schoolers served in their programs. Next Friday provides the community an opportunity to learn, engage, interact, and support the development of young people during their formative years.
It's time to team up and get smarter.
