SmallDog Rescue and Humane Society (a division of Furkids) in metro Atlanta is making it easier to celebrate canine freedom during the month that we celebrate our Nation’s freedom. Throughout the month of July you can help black dogs achieve their dreams and add a little furry love to your life with Furkids’ adoption special on all black dogs and puppies.
Adoption fees for all black dogs during July will be $100 - $175 off the regular $275 adoption fee. The adoption fee includes testing, complete (up to their current age) medical care, vaccinations, microchip, and spay/neuter. Adopters will also receive a copy of the dog’s medical records. Furkids also provides complimentary nail trimmings for adopted dogs and serves as a resource for the pet parents for the life of the dog.
Furkids is Georgia’s largest no-kill animal shelter and adopts out over 1,000 animals each year. The Furkids Adoption Team members are expert match makers who are skilled in helping adopters find the best dogs and puppies for their home and lifestyle.
The dog pictured above is Beach Boys – an eight year old miniature poodle mix who is looking for his forever home. Here is more about from the Furkids/SmallDog Rescue website:
Furkids/SmallDog Rescue found Beach Boys at a high-kill animal facility. He was waiting for someone to notice him and we sure did! He weighs 20 pounds and it is hard to believe that he is a ‘senior.’ He is a very young senior who loves his toys and loves to play.
