Small testicles get child murderer clemency from Governor Strickland

Youngstown, OH - Sidney Cornwell walked onto the front porch of an Oak Park apartment where 3 year old Jessica Ballew was spending the night looking for Richard "Boom" Miles in 1996. Miles lived in the upstairs apartment and had no relation to the Ballew family who lived downstairs.

When he was advised that Miles was not there, Cornwell stated "Well, tell Boom this," and shot the little girl twice in the head, killing her. He then shot 3 adults on the porch and fled.

Cornwell was set to die tomorrow for his crime.

Ted Strickland decided, today, to grant Cornwell clemency due to the fact that Cornwell has Klinefelter's syndrome, which is found in 1 out of every 1,000 males, and because he was teased about it. Klinefelter's syndrome is a chromosome abnormality in which the person has an extra X chromosome.

Males have and X and Y chromosome, females have 2 X chromosomes. Males with Klinefelter's syndrome have 2 X chromosomes and a Y, essentially having a full set of female and a full set of male chromosomes.

The most prominent effects of the syndrome are small testicles and reduced fertility.

You read that right. Cornwell's small package got him clemency after receiving the death penalty for intentionally killing a 3 year old girl. Officers in contact with Cornwell upon his capture advised he was laughing about what he had done while being questioned.

This is yet another reason proving that Ohioans made the right decision in voting Strickland out. Why would Strickland commute Cornwell's sentence from the death penalty to life in prison? Can Strickland identify with Cornwell being teased for his small genitalia?

Understandably, the family is upset at this decision.

Virgil Ballew Jr., brother of little Jessica, issued the following statement Monday afternoon in response to this outrage;

"I think this is very wrong, what is this world coming to? I would have really like to see justice be served. That isn't going to happen now! I do not care how much he got picked on that is no excuse to commit murder. I have lost 14 years with my beautiful baby sister Jessica Ballew and now I have to live with the fact of the man who shot her is getting away with it!!!"

"This is a very traumatic situation for anyone to be in. I do not wish this traumatic experience to happen  to anybody. It is extremely hard to deal with these types of things. Everyday people have to accept life and death. It is very hard when someone close to you passes. It is even harder to go on living a regular life after these types of situations, but this is something we have to do. Life is too short and we have to make the best out of it. We never know when our time is up. My sister was only three and never got to really live life."

Strickland better find a job flipping burgers, because he will never get elected in this area again after this.

    When a three year old child gets no justice after being murdered our society is not looking after the weak and the innocent . Sidney Cornwell chose his fate and was sentenced to death . Justice has been cheated and he gets to die of old age .
