Small plane crashes into Palm Coast house Friday after emergency call

A small plane is reported to have crashed into a home in Palm Coast Friday afternoon. Flagler County Sheriff’s spokesperson Debra Johnson says first reports say the pilot had declared an emergency around 2:10 p.m., and that the plane crashed into a home on Utica Path around twelve minutes later. There was no information about injuries at first. The plane was reported to have five passengers on board. The pilot is said to have reported that the “...plane was severely shaking...” when the mayday call was made. Utica Path is east of the Flagler County Airport, in a neighborhood just east of Seminole Woods Boulevard in Palm Coast.
