Seminar Synopsis

Learn well-tested approaches for organizational planning; innovative applicant screening and interviewing; hiring, training, and building staff morale; and leading a talented staff. 

Background Info

Durham Technical Community College Small Business Center provides business owners with the tools they need to successfully manage and grow their companies at little to no cost. In addition to seminars and courses, they offer:

  • Confidential one-on-one counseling
  • Technical assistance
  • Resource and referral services
  • Library of various business publications

Additionally, on every fourth Friday, the seminar  "Thinking of Starting a Business?" is presented to people considering entrepreneurship. It is a primer for budding entrepreneurs who want to learn about the various online and community resources useful for starting up a business. The next session will be held Monday, July 26 at 3 pm in the SOUTHBank Building (Rm 312)
