On Tuesday February 25, the WWE taped an episode of SmackDown from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This episode is scheduled to air on Friday, February 28. According to a February 25 report by, SmackDown opened with Batista coming out to address the negative reaction he has being receiving from the WWE Universe.

The WWE advertised that Batista would be "unleashed" on SmackDown and tell the entire world what he thinks. Apparently, he doesn't care about the boos that he receives and he is going to destroy every wrestler that gets in his way. Dolph Ziggler would come out and challenge Batista to a match later in the show.

During their bout, Batista worked the match as a "monster heel" and drew the ire of the live crowd. He would win easily and confirm the speculations of a heel turn. It will be interesting to see how this impacts his WM 30 match against Randy Orton.

Over the last few weeks, we have seen tension mounting between Cesar and Jack Swagger. This tension continued as they teamed up and defeated the tag team of Big E and Mark Henry. Cesaro is poised for a huge singles push and this is WWE's way of separating him from Swagger.

Other matches on SmackDown:

  • Alberto Del Rio versus Sheamus ends when Christian comes out and attacks Sheamus.
  • AJ Lee defeated Cameron in a WWE Divas title match
  • The main event of the night saw Daniel Bryan and The Usos defeat Kane and The New Age Outlaws

The WWE advertised that the March 3 RAW in Chicago will see a 6-man tag match of The Shield vs. The Wyatt Family and a confrontation between Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker.

It appears that the feud between Christian and Sheamus will continue forward. However, it's unclear as to what the WWE is going to do with Alberto Del Rio. He seems irrelevant now, after his feud with Batista. One also has to ask if the WWE is planning on a WM 30 match between Cesaro and Swagger as the company has a history of splitting up tag-teams just to feud them. With Bray Wyatt heading to face Cena at WM 30, where does this leave the other members of the Wyatt family and The Shield?
