What an appropriate street name for the new Sly Fox Brewery - Circle of Progress Drive. Literally, a circular drive and at its crest, the new, exciting, and state of the art Sly Fox Brewery. Just as their address indicates, they have truly earned themselves a spot atop the arc of progress.
Nearly 20 years in, the Sly Fox family has grown to become one of Pennsylvania's beloved sons. With locally named (and award-winning) brews and a relentless pursuit of perfection, be sure to visit their new facility and take a tour!
The real reason to go? Their consummately unique "Tastin' Room." The name alone might lend itself more to a quaint, low-ceilinged, and smaller space, but make no mistake about this larger and lofty room. The front room of their new brewery is adequately filled with warmth, friendliness, Pa. pride, and the superb aroma of fresh baked pizzas.
Let's start there - the menu. Do you know they don't have a freezer, or deep fryer? Who needs one, when you have you have your own brick oven and smoker? Everything, yes everything, is made fresh. Their pizzas, the flagship of their menu, begin homemade, everyday. You can make your own, or choose from five specialty pizzas. Try their smoked kielbasa, by the way, and a set of their sliders.
Do we really need to mention their brews? Many sit high atop the Pa. arc of craft beer progress. Try a 113 IPA, an O'Reilly's Stout, or a Pikeland Pilsner and you'll enjoy one of the brews that carved the very niche that is Pa. craft brewing.
Their Tastin' Room provides these, as well as the ever-evolving line up of new recipes. You get the classics, mixed in with some freshly cut brews.
Since the dawn of the Pa. craft revolution, Sly Fox has progressed with a ferocious fan base, boundless recognition, an unwavering commitment to quality and high standards, and the tenacity to grow. Be sure to visit one of Pennsylvania's finest examples of progress.
