March 3: The City Meets the Sea: Beer Meets Oyster
Where: 1 Kendall Square, Cambridge MA

Forget caviar and champagne–Cambridge Brewing Company is hosting this recession-appropriate, non-luxuirous event by serving up a 5-course meal highlighting local beer and oysters. The event’s proceeds will go to the Massachusetts Oyster Project, to help the cause of sustainable fishing practices and reducing man-made waste in our oceans.


March 13: Maple Sugaring Outing at Natick Community Organic Farm
Where: 117 Eliot St, Natick MA

Learn, tour, and taste one of New England’s favorite local foods.

$15 for adults $10 for children

March 14: 3rd Annual Film Series – Bullsh**
Where: Posner Hall, Tufts University Friedman School , 200 Harrison Ave

Learn about industrial agriculture, genetically modified foods, bio-piracy, and many other agricultural related issues facing the US and Indian food systems in this informative documentary. Following, a panel discussion will take place with local agricultural experts and food advocates.
