Slow cooker lasagne

Make this slow-cooker lasagne for an intimate dinner at home. While this cooks on its own, gussy yourself up, light some candles and put on the mood music.

  • 6 sheets of no-boil lasagna noodles
  • 1 16-oz jar of tomato sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese
  • oregano

Place half the tomato sauce in a 5-quart crock pot on high. Make sure there is sauce below the pasta. Layer 1 sheet of pasta, uncooked, in the center of the crock, top with sauce and ricotta. If the sauce puddles in the bottom of the crock around the sides of the pasta tower, spoon it on top of the next pasta sheet. Repeat 4 more times. Add the topmost pasta sheet, use the remaining sauce over the top. Top the sauce with mozzarella and sprinkle with oregano. Cover and cook on high for 30 minutes. Turn down to low for 2-3 hours. Serve warm.
