Slow Cooker Beef & Bean Chili

This chili makes a fantastic supper; you’ll love that it’s slow-cooked for flavor and richness and it’s perfect for freezing too.

What You Need:
(Makes: 4 cups)

1/2 pound of lean ground beef
1/2 cup of onion, chopped
1/2 cup green pepper, chopped
1/2 cup celery, chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
1 can (16 ounces) of kidney beans, rinsed and drained
1 can (8 ounces) of tomato sauce
1/2 cup of water
1/2 cup of ketchup
1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons of chili powder
Dash hot pepper sauce

What to Do:
In a small skillet, cook the beef, onion, green pepper, celery and garlic over medium heat until meat is no longer pink and vegetables are tender; drain.

STEP 2) Transfer to a 1 & 1/2 quart slow cooker. Stir in the remaining ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours.

STEP 3) Enjoy!
