Though fans were shocked by Slipknot drummer Joey Jordison's departure from the band, it hasn't slowed down the rest of the guys. They recently went back to the studio despite Jordison leaving. Guitarist Jim Root posted an image on Instagram of the guys in the studio. It shows Root holding his guitar in front of a mixing desk with the hashtag #slipknot2014.

Jordison parted ways with Slipknot last December for "personal reasons," but he later released a statement saying he did not leave the band. He said he was “blindsided” by the news. The other members have yet to reply to Jordison's comments.
