Slideshow shows colorful castle, other True Love scenes from Magic Kingdom (Photos)

The Magic Kingdom is in the midst of its Limited Time Magic True Love celebration, which started on Feb. 11 and runs through the 17th. As you can see in the slideshow above, Cinderella Castle is bathed in colorful lights, and you hear a medley of romantic tunes as the colors change.

Although the special pins and Vinylmation figures are already sold out, there's still some cute romantic merchandise. You'll also find special photo opportunities, including the most popular: a chance to meet the princes with their princesses. Get to the park early to get a FastPass for that greeting, or be prepared to wait in a long line. The FastPasses were all distributed by 2 p.m. on Feb. 12, and by the evening the standby wait for this rare opportunity was over two hours.

The celebration of true love is just one of many Limited Time Magic promotions planned at Walt Disney World throughout 2013. As the name implies, each event is very limited. Some might last multiple days, while others could be as short as a single day.

Upcoming Limited Time Magic events include Independence Week, running July 1 to 7, when the colors red, white, and blue will dominate the Magic Kingdom and spectacular fireworks will light up the sky every night, and Unleash the Villains, a one-day tribute to evil on September 18 that runs till 1 a.m. at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Prior to the Valentine's Week celebration, Disney rolled out a meet and greet opportunity with some long-lost characters in January, including Scrooge McDuck, Ludwig Von Drake, Horace Horsecollar, Clarabelle Cow, Robin Hood, Friar Truck, Pinocchio, Geppetto, Jiminy Cricket, the Three Little Pigs, and the Big Bad Wolf.
