It was reported on Feb. 21, 2013 that Delhi Chief Minister Shiela Dixit and former Miss World Aishwarya Rai Bachchan felicitated the winners of the second edition of 'Zindagi Live Awards' conducted by IBN7 in partnership with Maruti Suzuki in Delhi.
Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir and Ashutosh, managing editor of IBN7 also attended the awards.
The awards honor those who are brave to tackle the obstacles of life and show courage and hope.
Eight fearless women Ami B Shroff, Hema Aziz, Kiran Thakur, Sabeena, Amita Sharma, Ummul Khair, Karthika Annamalai, Hena Nafis and Uzma Nafis were honoured at Zindagi LIVE Awards.
They were felicitated as they represented the triumphant spirit of India’s women. Ashutosh said that they were delighted to have instituted the awards that complement the strength of the human spirit.
The awards ceremony which had Delhi Chief Minister, Shiela Dixit as Chief Guest was held at Taj Palace Hotel in New Delhi.
Acclaimed actress of Bollywood, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan joined to grace the occasion as the esteemed Guest of Honour.
