Everyone in the Buffalo area is probably feeling the effects of sun deprivation at this point in the year, and trips to remote islands can be a little pricey. Niagara Falls offers a much more reasonable option that involves aquatic fun on a weekend away.
Fallsview Indoor Waterpark is running a promotion during the month of March which can keep a family of four well entertained for an entire weekend with a price tag as low as $179.
An overnight stay at the Crowne Plaza Niagara Falls beginning on Friday, March 7 comes in at the most wallet-friendly price-option available for two adults and two children. Packages go as high as roughly $300 depending on date and lodging option which includes the Skyline Inn, Sheraton on the Falls and Clifton Victoria Inn.
In addition to an overnight stay, the packages include two-day passes to the giant water park with the twisting slides that is impossible to miss as you cross the border into Canada at Niagara Falls. Travelers also enjoy an Adventure City pass which includes four tickets to Glow in the Dark Safari Mini Putt, Combat Bumper Cars, an Interactive SWAT Ride and a 4D Motion Theater. Kids will also eat free with every adult entree purchased at the Fallsview Grand Buffet, The Rainbow Room by Massimo Capra and Planet Hollywood.
Additionally, from March 8 to 15, the package includes a 60-minute Mega Magic Show.
According to the website, the waterpark itself covers more than three acres, has 16 waterslides as well as an indoor wave pool and hot springs. The view isn't too shabby either, as it's located just down the street from the falls.
If by any chance these options leave even a spare minute in your weekend away, Clifton Hill provides plenty of entertainment options as well as restaurants to keep the whole family happy.
The waterpark may not be able to produce actual sunshine, but a weekend of activities can chase away some winter gloom for a weekend.
