Slender Man stabbing: Girls 12, stab friend 19-times then abandon her in woods

The Slender Man stabbing, a sick game of fantasy prompted two 12-year-old girls to stab their friend, another 12-year-old girl, 19 times. The two girls who did the stabbing are being treated as adults in court right now, although one of their attorneys is trying to get this case moved to a juvenile court, according to News Max on June 3.

The girls did this stabbing with the goal of taking this other girl's life. They planned to kill her for the Slender Man, a fantasy realm that is apparently on a popular online website for horror stories, creepypasta.wikia.com. The girls' names were not released because of their age, but they are both being held on attempted homicide charges in Waukesha, Wisconsin on $500,000 cash bail for each child.

This act of violence was premeditated and the planning for the stabbing started way back in December. The girls have been contemplating when to carry out this killing and where to do it since that time. They finally made the decision to kill her while she slept, so they orchestrated a slumber party. They didn't want to "see her eyes" when they killed her so they waited until it was dark.

The girls went through the night without being able to carry out their plans of the stabbing. The next day all three girls went to a park and during a game of hide and seek, one girl held her down and the other girl repeatedly stabbed their friend 19 times.

ABC News reports that there was some hesitation on the part of the girls, who backed out of this plan a few times before going through with it. They backed out at the slumber party and the next day when one girl handed the other girl a knife, she said that she couldn't go through with it. The other girl who then had the knife said she couldn't go through with it either, so what happened?

The girls followed the victim into the woods and pushed her down. One girl sat on her and the two girls began handing the knife back and forth until one girl started to attack the victim with the knife.

One of the girls told a detective that she understood that they were about to end a life and that she regretted it. "The bad part of me wanted her to die, the good part of me wanted her to live," one of the girls told law enforcement. The other girl said she was sorry for what she had done.

One of those stab wounds was within a millimeter of a major artery to the victim's heart. The girls told the police that the victim screamed that she hated the girls once she was stabbed and she "stumbled away."

The other two girls left the victim lying in the woods and went home. The girl crawled to a road and a bicyclist happened upon the victim and called 911. Police said the victim gave them the name of one of the two girls who did this to her before she was rushed into surgery.

The victim is in "stable condition" in a local hospital today. The two girls who attacked the victim were in court this week, both wearing hand cuffs and shackles, which is a disturbing sight to see on two 12-year-old girls, who did an even more disturbing act.

Family members of the girls sat in court and listened to what these girls were accused of doing and what they have admitted to doing. One family sat weeping, the other family sat stone-faced.

Police report that one of the girls said that is was strange, but she can't feel any remorse for what she did. The girls did this for the mythical man called, "The Slender Man." Their plan was to flee to the Slender Man's castle once they finished killing their friend.

They wanted to become "proxies" of Slender Man, who would accept them and let them live with him once they have killed that girl in his name. They planned to run to the Nicolet National Forest and live in Slender Man's mansion in that forest.

These girls are kids, only 12-years-old, and one of them feels nothing, not a bit of remorse for this horrendous act of violence. What has happened here? During a press conference this afternoon by police, a warning went out to parents nationwide that this was one hard and serious example of why parents should know what their kids are doing online.
