NYC noise pop duo Sleigh Bells already have a few festival appearances lined up this summer. Why not make a small tour out of it?

The duo have announced a handful of North American dates surrounding their appearances at NYC's Governor's Ball Festival, Toronto's NXNE Festival and Delaware's Firefly Music Festival. Brooklyn noise group Yvette, who recently released their latest album Process on Godmode, will be joining them on their brief trek. Sleigh Bells will make their way to Asbury Park's Stone Pony on Thursday, June 12. Tickets go on sale this Friday at noon. Vocalist Alexis Krauss grew up eight miles away in the town of Manasquan.

Sleigh Bells have been on the move since releasing their third album Bitter Rivals, which was inspired by the music of Janet Jackson, on Mom+Pop Music last October. The band trekked across North America with rapper Danny Brown and Canadian artist Doldrums last fall and even made late night appearances on Jimmy Kimmel Live and Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. Bitter Rivals debuted at number 49 on the Billboard Top 200 and reached number nine on the US Independent Albums Charts. The album received grand reviews from Spin, The A.V. Club, and Rolling Stone.

Following this trek, Sleigh Bells will head overseas for England's Blissfields Festival and Denmark's Roskilde Festival before coming back to the States for two stops on the Mad Decent Block Party performing with acts like Diplo, Dillon Francis, and Flux Pavilion You can take a look at all of their upcoming tour dates below.

Tickets for the Governor's Ball Festival, their other tri-state area appearance, are still on sale, but they're moving very fast. The band will be performing on Saturday, June 7th with Jack White, The Strokes, and Skrillex. The Governor's Ball Festival will take place at Randall's Island.
