'Sleepy Hollow': Tom Mison, Nicole Beharie and EPs tease season 2

Ready to see more historical figures on "Sleepy Hollow"? Then you'll be excited for what's coming up in season 2, as we got some details on what to expect when we hit up the press room at San Diego Comic-Con and sat down for roundtables with series stars Tom Mison and Nicole Beharie and executive producers Mark Goffman and Heather Kadin. We uploaded that video interview on Sunday, Aug. 3.

"We've got a lot of new surprises for you this season," Goffman teased. "We have some new historical figures. We're going to be revising their history. We'll get to see Daniel Boone, Benedict Arnold, and then Benjamin Franklin plays a big part in this season starting with even the premiere. We'll learn some of the history behind his inventions and what he was doing in England," among other things. Plus, get ready for more about the underworld and the dark forces.

On a lighter note, Crane is going to learn to drive in season 2! "It's about time," Goffman pointed out. "It's been 200 years." But don't worry about his clothes. "I can't burn that costume," Mison insisted. "I need that costume." Plus, "there is an outlet store he can go to" now that he's met the girl at the reenactment. And whatever happens, "The coat stays."

That said, don't get too comfortable with the comedic moments because Goffman promised, "the apocalypse is real this year." They have 18 episodes this season, which is going to allow them the freedom to build to a bigger midseason reveal – and "a really big twist" is coming towards the middle of the season.

Check out the video interview for more from Tom Mison, Nicole Beharie, Mark Goffman and Heather Kadin about what's coming up and the show itself. "Sleepy Hollow" season 2 premieres Monday, Sept. 22 at 9 p.m. on Fox.
