'Sleepy Hollow' Season 2: What can fans expect?

"Sleepy Hollow" quickly became one of the most popular new shows of the 2013 fall season, and it was the first one to be picked up for a second season. Fans were disappointed to hear that the first season was only 13 episodes. The season finale left many speechless and thrown back with a shocking reveal. There are so many unanswered questions and speculations that it will be agony waiting for the second season to begin. According to a Jan. 21 report from Entertainment Weekly, the shocking revelation that Jeremy was also the "Sin Eater" had been planned since the beginning. The writers did an excellent job burying the fact they were one in the same.

There are many questions surrounding the main characters in "Sleepy Hollow." As the finale ended fans saw Icabod Crane buried alive, Katrina kidnapped by the horseman, and Abby stuck in Purgatory. In the report from EW, it was revealed that what happens will be explained but not necessacarily in the way fans think. The show may be brought back to the present or in the future. Dream sequences and flashbacks have been a huge part of the first season and it will continue on. There was also mention that more characters will be added and some of them may be supernatural.

Season 1 of "Sleepy Hollow" was definitely not a disappointment to any of the fans. The season finale caught many off-guard with the big reveal. Several things will be explained during the second season which is set to begin this fall.
