Ancitif, a minion of Moloch is able to go from body to body and possess its hosts. After being gone for seven years, he will return to Sleepy Hollow to give a warning to Irving. He must deliver George Washington's Bible or something horrible will happen to Macey.

Ichabod and Abbie will search Corbin's archives, looking for a way to defeat the latest threat. While there, they discover something shocking about who one of the demon's past victims was. Even though they find out how to beat Ancitif, they will still have to get their hands on a relic and that might not be so easy.

While they are busying doing that, Irving is going to take steps to keep his family safe, but the demon somehow makes his way into the ranks of the police department. Jenny is also going to reveal something about her past that could help make her bond with Abbie stronger.
