Today, and for the next twenty hours, Sleeping Dogs is going for $9.99 on Steam. One of the best action games from last year may have suffered from a few technical hiccups, but that's to be expected given the scope of the title. Beyond that, the game did many things right. Melee combat is visceral, gunplay is smooth, and driving around town is confusing (who drives on the left side?).
If you've recently finished up most of those holiday titles, give Sleeping Dogs a shot. It's got plenty of content to offer, and slow motion shoot outs never get boring.
