We all need a break sometimes. Even writing and recording a new (sure to be) kick a** new album, metal giants Slayer deserve a break too.

But what's great about this forthcoming break of theirs is that it's not going to be a private trip to Bora Bora where fans only get to see a random beach picture on Instagram - - - this break is going to include a tour.

Albeit a short romp this May, but one that is sure to pack a punch as the Slayer guys will be bringing along Suicidal Tendencies and Exodus as well. This will be the first time out together again for Slayer and Suicidal Tendencies since the 1990 European "Clash of the Titans" tour.

"It's been 24 years since Suicidal Tendencies played with Slayer," stated Suicidal Tendencies' Mike Muir in a press release, "So it's long overdue that we finally play some shows in the States together. I have lots of great memories from that tour, and know that there will be a lot more after these shows, for the band and the people. Can't wait!"

"I am very excited to announce Exodus will be joining Suicidal Tendencies and the mighty Slayer in May for a short trip ending at the Rock on the Range! Double duty will have never been so much fun," added Gary Holt , "Looking forward to this one in a big way! Let the mayhem begin!" Holt, who continues to fill in for Slayer's late guitarist Jeff Hanneman, will experience double the rocking on this tour as he's also playing guitar in his primary band, Exodus.

For the handful of cities that this tour is going to hit, Slayer, Suicidal Tendencies, and Exodus is not to be missed. But for Chicago metal-heads, this is experience is going to have to include a road trip. The closest stop to the Chicago area will be at The Rave / Eagles Club in Milwaukee.

Tickets for Slayer/Suicidal/Exodus go on sale this Friday, January 24, keep an eye on for more information.

Tour dates are as follows:

11 Shrine, Billings, MT
13 Uptown Theatre, Kansas City, MO
