When one thinks of thrash metal there are a handful of acts that garner world-wide first response. Of those the group Slayer is most certainly one.
With a career spanning over 30 years, numerous gold and platinum records, multiple Grammy awards and never ending controversy the band has practically done it all. Their legacy is cemented in many bands that cite Slayer as their main influence in forming a band.
Slayer just announced dates of a tour starting in May that will culminate with Rock on the Range in Ohio. Luckily, St. Louis is one of only 6 US dates listed with a May 15 booking at The Pageant.
Appearing with Slayer will be Suicidal Tendencies and Exodus.
Better hurry, with only their third appearance in St. Louis in 10 years this is a show that is sure to sell out.
