Legendary Guitarist SLASH played the Caesars Windsor Casino Colosseum on Thursday 9.9.2010, opening for Billy Idol. Slash performed a full set of 13 songs with Myles Kennedy on Vocals. They covered all the hits from Guns n' Roses, Velvet Revolver, and songs off his new Album entitled SLASH.
The new album features a variety to guest singers, from Ian Astbury to Kid Rock. But for the tour, this is his line up: Slash on Guitar, Myles Kennedy (of Alter Bridge) -on Vocals & Guitar, Bobby Schneck (of Weezer, Green Day) on Rhythm Guitar, Todd Kerns (of The Sin City Sinners & The Age of Electric) on Bass, and Brent Fitz (of Alice Cooper, Vince Neil) on Drums.
The crowd was on their feet the entire show, and cheered loudly when all the Guns n' Roses songs came on. One of the many highlight of the show was during the song Civil War, when Slash performed a guitar solo playing the intro to Voodoo Child by the great Jimi Hendrix.
