Slammer Tour takes on virtual Hawaiian course Sunday evening

The Slammer Tour Indoor Match-Play League goes Hawaiian Sunday evening when the competitors challenge one another on the Pacific island of paradise’s Mauna Kea Golf Course.

Two spots remain open for players to join such Slammer Tour stalwarts as Rulz, Malone, Shortstack, Sandman, Blue, IronMaiden, PizzaMan, Wedge Antilles, Woodsy, McGee666, GreenReader and Chill at the event.

Allen McGee, Sunday’s event organizer, picked Mauna Kea to be this week’s track so the players will get a virtual taste of what the PGA Tour guys are up against this weekend at the Sony Open at the Waialae Country Club in Hawaii.

When the players get things going at 6:30 p.m., they’ll also be able to catch the San Diego Chargers versus Denver Broncos game on the many televisions at Golf-O-Max as the teams enter crunch time in the NFL playoffs.

For men and women golfers curious about playing indoors, they can try it out during a first event, which is free.

Golf-O-Max is located at 1050 Baxter Rd. behind the Ottawa Citizen building.

For more details and to register, call 613.274.7393 or shoot a message to mcgee666@slammertour.com or info@slammertour.com.
