Upon the initial announcement of the release of the Dragonborn expansion pack for “Skyrim” on the PC and PS3, Bethesda revealed that PS3 players would also be receiving Dawnguard and Hearthfire for “Skyrim” sometime in February. Although a specific date was given for the PC version of Dragonborn, the PS3 version of “Skyrim” did not received a specific date for when this content would become available.
Today, Pete Hines announced through his Twitter account that the 1.8 update and all three expansion packs for the PS3 version of “Skyrim” had passed through the Sony America certification process.
In regards to the announcement of the release date for Dragonborn, Dawnguard, and Hearthfire for the PS3 version of “Skyrim,” Pete Hines has stated that they hope to be able to reveal these dates within the next week. As previously announced, expansion packs for the PS3 version of “Skyrim” will be released in the following order: Dragonborn, then Hearthfire, then Dawnguard.
