‘Skyrim’ possible PSN digital release discussed by Bethesda Softworks (Photos)

A short statement has been provided by Matt Grandstaff in regards to a possible Playstation Network release for the Playstation 3 version of the multiplatform title, “The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.” In the comments section of the Playstation Blog on Feb. 12, the global community lead at Bethesda Softworks disclosed that the company currently does not have any plans for a release on the Playstation Store. However, they will let people know if their stance on the matter changes in the future. Currently there’s no plans for a digital release on the store. If that changes, we’ll let people know.

The physical version of “The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim” came out for the Playstation 3 console, as well as the PC and Xbox 360 systems, in North America on Nov. 11, 2011. The latest video game from “The Elder Scrolls” series was developed by Bethesda Game Studios and published by the aforementioned Bethesda Softworks.
