'Skyrim': 'Dragonborn', 'Dawnguard' and 'Hearthfire' hit PS3 in February (Photos)

Playstation 3 owners who have been waiting for the release of DLC for "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" received just the news they've been waiting for Friday. All three expansion packs will arrive on the PS3 in February. Even better, the expansions will all be half off the first week they are on PSN.

Bethesda Community Lead Matt Grandstaff made the announcement on the Playstation Blog where he also revealed that the 1.8 title update for "Skyrim" will be released just prior to the launch of "Dragonborn."

Exact dates for the release of each add-on were not given but "Dragonborn" will arrive first followed by "Hearthfire" the next week and then "Dawnguard" the following week. Release dates are currently being finalized with Sony according to a post at the Bethesda blog but the PC version of "Dragonborn" is set for a Feb. 5 release.

"Dawnguard" was originally released for the Xbox 360 in June of 2012. Playstation 3 owners waited and waited for the DLC to come on their console before Bethesda admitted that it was having difficulties to get DLC to run on the Sony console.
