Immediately after I posted my previous article on the Skyrim Creation Kit coming soon after the official 1.4 patch, the patch actually started downloading. All 192 MBs of optimal goodness. And I say optimal because I tried out some areas that used to give me some framerate problems, most notably Markarth and it's waterfalls, and I noticed a significant increase in my frames per second giving me a much smoother experience through my travels. Bravo! Also, more importantly, according to IGN, the Skyrim Creation Kit will be released February 7th.
But there's something more. Pete Hines, the VP of PR and Marketing at Bethesda hinted at a special surprise to go with the release of the Skyrim Creation Kit via Twitter.
