'Skyrim' and 'Oblivion' games and DLC prices cut in half on Xbox LIVE

Microsoft's Countdown to 2013 promotion concludes Monday with deals on the full games and DLC for "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" and "The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion".

"The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" is currently on sale for half off at $29.99 through the Xbox LIVE Games on Demand service. It's two DLC add-ons, "Dawnguard" and "Hearthfire" are also on sale for half off at 800 MS Points ($10) and 200 MS Points ($2.50) respectively.

Meanwhile, "Elder Scrolls" fans can pick up "Oblivion" at the discounted price of $9.99 through Games on Demand and get the "Shivering Isles" add-on half off at 600 MS Points ($7.50) or the "Knights of the Nine" add-on for 200 MS Points.

The discounts on these games and add-on will end some time early in the morning on Jan. 1 around 3 a.m. EST / 12 a.m. PST. This will conclude the two weeks worth of daily Xbox LIVE deals that Microsoft started on Dec. 18.
