‘Skyrim’ 1.8 patch PS3 release date hinted by Bethesda Softworks (Photos)

Pete Hines may have hinted at a possible release date in regards to the 1.8 patch for the Playstation 3 version of the multiplatform title, “The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.” When asked about when the update will be available on the Playstation Network, the vice president of Bethesda Softworks revealed through Twitter on Feb. 2 that it will probably come out before the first DLC release on the system. Dragonborn will be the first DLC released for the Playstation 3 version of “The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim” with a launch date of Feb. 12. Therefore, the 1.8 patch will most likely come out on Feb. 11.

“The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim” was released for the Playstation 3 console in North America on Nov. 11, 2011. The open-world role-playing game is also available for the PC ad Xbox 360 platforms. You can order the title in the following link: “The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim”
