Word on the street is that most men will be watching the NCAA Women’s Final Four on Sunday for one reason: Skylar Diggins.
Diggins is Notre Dame’s all-time leading scorer who recently received the Nancy Lieberman Award (presented annually to the nation's top NCAA Division I point guard) for the second consecutive year.
Interestingly, Skylar has gotten just as must recognition for her stunning looks as she has for her balling skills.
Hate and Basketball.
Diggins is no stranger to the media. Last year she was rumored to be romantically involved with hip-hop superstar, Lil Wayne. When asked about the relationship, she simply replied it was "nothing special."
Earlier this year, nude photos of a female who closely resembled Diggins were leaked on the internet. She calmly addressed the photos via Twitter, claiming “there are those who try to put other's lights out, so theirs can shine brighter… pay them no mind.”
Skylar Has No Limits.
While she is extremely demonstrative and theatrical on the court, it’s her cool demeanor off the court in addition to her beauty that has propelled Diggins into the spotlight as one of the most marketable female basketball players of all-time.
While Mark Cuban is initiating silly debates about Brittney Griner playing in the NBA, Diggins has become the main focal point of numerous WNBA teams in desperate need of talent (and, more importantly, ticket sales). In addition, there is widespread speculation that numerous corporations and businesses are eagerly awaiting the day when they can throw lucrative endorsement deals her way.
As her name suggests, the sky is the limit for Diggins.
