Those looking to put their best face forward in the new year needn’t look any further than The Spa at Red Rock’s revolutionary new 3D Wrinkle Treatment. Available exclusively at the luxurious Summerlin retreat, guests will receive similar results to injectable treatments but without the needles! Plus, unlike simple anti-wrinkle treatments, the comprehensive experience aims to improve skin’s overall health.
The treatment begins with all the aspects of a traditional facial, including neck and shoulder cleansing, application of an exfoliant and a second cleanse with a cream cleanser to remove excess scrub and soften skin for extractions. Then, an acid peel is applied to remove away layers of dead skin.
Next, a wrinkle relaxing serum, which relaxes the neurotransmitters from causing muscle contractions, is applied, resulting in the guest feeling an immediate numbing sensation in the skin. As opposed to treatments that use botulism as an ingredient, the muscle is deeply relaxed but not paralyzed. Then, a filling serum is applied to the skin, which provides results similar to injected fillers. Both serums are followed by the use of a manual tool with little wheels to run the course of wrinkles. This ensures absorption into the skin and wrinkle reduction.
The final step is a cryogenic mask, which is composed of algae and nutrients including vitamins A and E. The mask starts out in a clay-like state as it is placed on the skin. It ultimately hardens and is gently peeled off the face. In addition to enriching the skin, the mask assists with the absorption of the serums.
The rejuvenating facial helps the skin regenerate while the muscles are in a relaxed state. When the muscles return to normal function, the skin’s quality improves with more collagen and elastin, so lines will not form as quickly. Even people who choose injectable treatments should consider complementing them with the 3D Wrinkle Treatment, because the strengthening of the skin will help move injections further apart. Vie, the company that created the 3D Wrinkle Treatment, conducted a clinical study that showed wrinkles and lines experienced results similar to injectable botulism in 95-100% of treatments.
The first 3D Wrinkle Treatment takes just 80 minutes and the best results are seen for the first 3-6 days. Beyond that, a series of complementing facials are recommended for the following month. The intensive treatment should be repeated 2-4 times per year. Daily maintenance with Vie products is recommended. The cost is $295 for an 80-minute service or $185 for a 50-minute service.
Maintenance treatments are also recommended throughout the year as determined by skin needs. The more treatments, the better the results and the longer guests can take between sessions. Each 50-minute maintenance treatment incorporates a manual microderm but does not include an acid peel. For guests who prefer the results or need the intensity an acid peel provides, Facial Resurfacing treatments range from one treatment for $185 up to a package of four treatments for $704, which includes a consultation with the spa’s lead esthetician and director. The Spa at Red Rock’s 20% locals discount can be applied to all treatments with the exception of the package of four Facial Resurfacing treatments, which is already discounted. As an added bonus, all 50- and 80-minute services at The Spa at Red Rock also include a soothing, hydrating hand and foot treatment.
