A shockingly thin male model at Paris Fashion Week caused controversy this past weekend. According to a Radar Online article on Jan. 21, the model appeared gaunt and sickly. He walked down the runway at Hedi Slimane's Yves Saint Laurent show, now known as Saint Laurent Paris.
The male model walked down in a head-to-toe black outfit. He wore a black motorcycle jacket, a black shirt and black skinny jeans. His legs looked like sticks.
His face looked as if it was sunken in. People could see the hollows of his cheeks. The male model puckered his lips as he walked down the runway.
People in the audience were concerned about the model's appearance. They thought he was showing an unhealthy body image. People also took to Twitter to show their disgrace.
Hedi Slimane has been under attack before. It appears that he always has too-thin models in his runway shows. The New York Times reported a story about the "vanishing" male model back in 2008.
