Skin care yacht cruise misses rains, catches eagles

Bad weather was brewing on Sun., April 27, but that didn't stop Captain Bill Tisdale from taking the guests who arrived at Commodore Marina out on a skin-care cruise down the Cumberland. With an eagle eye on all his modern technology, Tisdale moved the boat cruise up a half hour so the yacht could made it out and back safely before the rains arrived in Nashville.

Speaking of eagles, one of the highlights of the cruise was watching a bald eagle arrive at its large nest in one of the trees lining the Cumberland. The eagle had something in its beak, and politely perched on the edge for photos. The domes of baby eagle heads could be spotted bobbing up and down in the nest. See slideshow for photos.

The sky was overcast and the wind was blowing which made the cruise a pleasant, breezy experience. However, even in overcast weather, many of the guests followed boating skin care protocol and used a good broad-spectrum sunscreen like Reverse sunscreen.

When the boat docked, Donna Tisdale and other consultants shared stories of how Rodan + Fields Dermatologists is changing skin and changing lives. Guests learned about the history of Rodan + Fields and why their products are more effective than what is sold over the counter. Guests also learned about the numerous awards the company has won.
