David Beckham feels so comfortable in his Bodywear line of skimpy undies that it is common for him to wear them all the time – apparently with nothing else but his heavy load of ink. What? No Super Bowl ad? The former British soccer star, who is married to Victoria “Posh” Beckham, recently released a new ad campaign, reports Inquisitr on Wednesday, Feb. 6., and Becks is giving fans and potential undergarment customers a Facebook heads-up on the new clothing line.
The skimpy-skivvy David Beckham admakers for H&M could hire underwear models galore to promote this new line of comfy undies, but the sport and everywhere-else celebrity – who now plays soccer in the U.S. – likes to show off his hunky body and display his two full sleeves of tattoos. “No matter how many campaigns I do with H&M, I will never get used to seeing myself on billboards. It’s always a surprise to me when I see them. I’m lucky to work with such great photographers and stylists, so the images are always the best they can be.” That’s good to know, but even with good photographers, most people would not enjoy seeing themselves displayed in their underwear.
Last year, a joking fan response to all the skimpy clothing photographs had women yelling “shirt off” every time David Beckham came into view. It must have worked out for him, because the star took in more than $20 million in endorsements, not even counting his $4 million soccer salary from the Los Angeles Galaxy.
David Beckham, 37, has four adorable children, a wife who is beautiful and wealthy in her own right, and pretty much the world by the tail. So what if he didn’t make the British Olympic Football team last year? No one can have it all.
