Now is the time to ski the powdery snow in colorful Colorado for winter fitness. This year the ski slopes have received lots of luscious white snow, so the conditions for skiing are excellent at most ski areas along the Western Slope: Arapahoe Basin, Vail, Keystone, Aspen, Copper Mountain, Winter Park. No time like this Saturday to hit the slopes for winter exercise and physical release before the big Bronco football game on Sunday at the Mile High Stadium in Denver. After a day of skiing, one may feel more able to participate energetically and vocally with the Bronco-mania spectator activity this Sunday. So be sure to breathe deeply lungs full of crisp, clean air while on top of the mountains.

I don't have to tell anyone that skiing is a popular winter sport. Everyone who skies is familiar with the congested traffic conditions coming and going to ski slopes on I-70 this time of year. Well, don't let a little, rather a lot, of traffic stop you from exercising. Just get going bright and early Saturday morning by packing the car the night before with skies, boots, poles, and a bag of parkas, goggles, scarves, hats, gloves, and money for lift ticket and lunch. Wake up, stretch for 15 minutes to get the body limber and then go!

Skiing is great for your health and fitness. Skiing is a marvelous activity to quiet your mind for the spectacular scenery soothes naturally. A day of skiing in the beautiful Colorado outdoors is good for your body, mind, spirit. Join the snow sports trend; try skiing!
