Skating Designs gives stuffed animals dressed like ice skaters to sick children

Skating Designs is a Colorado Springs ice skating clothing company which is locally-owned by Dorota Kamieniecki.  Mrs. Kamieniecki's daughter, Ola, is an accomplished international figure skater competing for Poland.

The company sells all sorts of items.  One of the most popular items are stuffed animals that wear ice skating clothes.

In December of 2011, the company gave a bunch of the stuffed animals dressed like ice skaters to Dr. Mindy Siegel, a Colorado Springs pediatric orthopedic surgeon.  Dr. Siegel will give the animals to children after operations.

Doing nice things for people, like giving away stuffed animals, is a way Skating Designs continually gives back to others.

Ola Kamieniecki donates her time helping young children with beginning ice skating skills.  Dorota Kamieniecki donates some of her products to people that can't afford to buy beautiful skating clothes.

"Skating Designs' goal is to make people happy,  I do hope the stuffed toys dressed like ice skaters will put a smile on a frightened child's face." - Dorota Kamieniecki
