Skateboarders are taking over Redstone Skate Park Sept. 14

Skateboarders of all ages will be showing off their moves at Redstone Skate Park Saturday, Sept. 14 at the Ruler of the Railzz skate park competition. Come watch as participants compete at Redstone Skate Park’s bowl and street courses. 2013 marks the 12th year of the popular skateboard competition hosted by the Highlands Ranch Metro District.

Ruler of the Railzz is a competitive skateboard event open to people of all ages and abilities. Seven skateboard divisions allow participants to select the right division that matches their interest and ability.

Divisions include:

  • Beginner ages 4-7
  • Beginner ages 8+
  • Intermediate Bowl
  • Intermediate Street
  • Advanced Bowl
  • Advanced Street
  • Advanced Mini Bowl

Participants can register online before the event at Registration costs $10 per participant per event. The event is open to the first 15 participants per division. Pre-registration is recommended, however you can register on-site the day of the event beginning at 11 a.m. with cash or credit card only. You must be registered by noon to compete. Registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis or until the divisions are full.
