Skateboarder Jacob Isom prevents Christian evangelist David Grisham from burning the Koran, Islam's religious text. Pastor David Grisham announced he'd burn a Koran in a public park but was foiled by a shirtless skateboarder who snagged the holy book before the Christian bigot had a chance to complete his nefarious deed.

23-year-old Amarillo resident Jacob Isom said: "I snook up behind him and took his Koran. He said something about burning a Koran, and I said, 'Dude, you have no Koran!' and ran off."

Isom was protesting the announced burning along with more than 200 others, most recruiting by a local Unitarian Universalist congregation

The planned burning event came on the ninth anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, and fell on the same day that controversial Florida pastor Terry Jones had planned to burn Korans.

After taking the Koran Isom gave the kerosene soaked book to a religious leader from the Islamic Center of Amarillo

Pastor David Grisham, Christian bigot, went home without burning the Koran.

Score one for the good guys.
