Skate your way to family fun

Do you ever wish you could recapture the carefree feeling of being a child again?  Remember the exhilarating feeling of roller skating?  Well the thrill is back at Let’s Skate Orlando.

Between work, school, and your kid’s after school events, there just isn’t enough time in the day to spend quality time with your family.  That is especially true today, when it can be hard to peel kids away from their gaming consoles and computer screens.  However, there was once a time when families actually went out and did stuff together.  I invite you to give your children a taste of the good ole days, by taking them roller skating.  I guarantee they will have a wonderful time, and you will too.

Let’s Skate Orlando is located at 14207 W. Colonial Drive in Winter Garden.  It is a family owned business, run by sisters Alisa Bostick and Debi Ray.  The sisters realized that people were in need of something fun to do in West Orange County area.  Before Let’s Skate Orlando opened up in Winter Garden, there were limited options for families seeking something fun and active to do with their kids.  Lucky for us, we now have the option to roller skate any night of the week, at great affordable rates.

If you are looking to plan an unforgettable and unique party, Let’s Skate Orlando has you covered.  The owners brought with them many years experience working in the amusement park and entertainment industries.  Their creativity and design experience is on display in their fabulously decorated, themed party rooms.  Room themes include Pirate Adventure, Princess, Rock Star, Let’s Skate, and Let’s Celebrate.  It is the perfect place to host your next birthday party, family reunion or social event.

Not interested in joining your kids on the rink?  Take a seat in the lounge, and grab a bite to eat at the Snack Bar.  Snack Bar offerings include hot dogs, pizza, nachos and drinks at reasonable prices.  Bring your laptop, e-reader or iPad with you and enjoy the free Wi-Fi.

It has probably been a long time since you took the family out for some old fashioned, wholesome fun.  So, next time you are looking for something exciting to do with the family, give Let’s Skate Orlando a try.  It will feel like a nostalgic trip back to your childhood.
