Fans have been waiting for the day when the Skate & Surf Festival would find its way back to Asbury Park. It looks like their wishes have just come true.

According to Asbury Park Press, the city council approved to bring the 2014 edition of the festival back to where it all began. Five stages will be spread across Ocean Avenue & Bradley Park. This year's Skate & Surf Festival was originally supposed to take place at the Middletown Sports Complex in Middletown, NJ on May 17th and May 18th.

This isn't the first time that Skate & Surf moved from its original venue; last year's festival was moved from Freehold's iPlay America to Six Flags Great Adventure a few weeks prior to the event.

This year's Skate & Surf Festival will feature a two night reunion from New Jersey pop punk act Midtown. Other acts slated to perform include Circa Survive, The Early November and recently announced acts United Nations and Animals As Leaders. It should also be noted that rapper DMX has been removed from the lineup.

Two day passes are currently on sale right now. Single day passes go on sale tomorrow.
