How much do we love Sarah Jessica Parker? A lot! With her character Carrie Bradshaw in the HBO series show "Sex in The City"and by the styling of Patricia Field she made us dream. Since then (not to mention that she is an amazing actress), she has undertaken several projects with in the Fashion Industry. One was her Creator Director job at Halston and now she is ready to stand on her on heels.
Her Sarah Jessica Parker's shoe line, titled SJP, launches February 28th, and Nordstrom is erecting a New York City pop-up shop for the occasion. The temporary space will run through March 2nd.
Until a few weeks there were no details besides the date but it has been confirmed that she'll pop up at 372 West Broadway. That's just down the street from where Treasure and Bond once was, which was a Nordstrom-owned boutique. It's also the first stop on her tour. The pop up opens on February 28 and she'll appear there every day through March 2.
Here is a little information and essentials on the line: The shoes are made in Italy, run between $195 to $485, and there's a style called the Carrie (of course) Some big stunners include "The Diana Pumps", The Paola and the Silvia and everything from classic pumps to colorful espadrilles.
Carrie's love of shoes meant that I got to wear hundreds of pairs- and the more I wore them the more I realized that they are often the starting point of style choices we make. Sometimes in Fashion little else matters but a shoe, said Parker.
It is certain is that the SJP shoe line will be front and center and how thankful are we?... Very much indeed!
