Model Lara Stone is the face of the moment, voted highest paid model by Forbes and is a Size 4. She's also being called "fat".

The 26-year-old Dutch model reaches 5-foot-10 and wears a proud Size 4 but in a recent interview with Vogue magazine, the model of the moment says she constantly feels pressure from the industry to trim down her size.

"What they say is 'curvy,' but you know they mean fat," Stone told Vogue, even mentioning a time where she was offered a corset to wear to pull her in.

Stone confesses to the magazine that while she may be more comfortable now, she's had her spill of dieting, exercise and weight loss pills to help her trim fat. She turned to extreme weight loss strategies and even alcohol to lose weight with no avail.

Today, Stone is a happy Size 4, she says. "People still tell me I'm fat, but when I look in the mirror, that's not what I see."

Rebecca Johnson in Vogue wrote in her defense, "Some clothes look better on bodies with "boobs," which is why Stone's career has flourished." She has, recently taking over Madonna as the new face of Louis Vuitton and stealing the most recent 2009 cover of "W".

Plus-size models like Crystal Renn and 180-pound model Lizzi Miller know all too well the feeling of making the body into something it's not.

"I couldn't walk another step without being exhausted, or having hair clumps falling out," Renn says of her life before gaining 70 pounds and being re-marketed by her fashion agents as plus-size model.
