Rudyard’s British Pub, the popular Houston tavern and eatery, has another special beer dinner planned for late August. This time, the dinner will feature products from a brewery that only recently broke into the Houston market. Here are the facts:
Event: Sixpoint Brewery Beer Dinner
Location: Rudyard’s Pub, 2010 Waugh Dr., Houston
Date and Time: Thursday, August 29, 2013 at 7:00 p.m.
Sixpoint Brewery is a Brooklyn, New York craft beer operation that has been going strong since 2004, but has been available in the Houston market for only about a year. During that time, Sixpoint has made an undeniable mark on the Houston craft beer scene and has widely expanded its fan base.
Rudyard’s Pub fully recognizes Sixpoint’s growing influence and has selected Sixpoint as its brewery of the month for its August beer dinner. The pub is planning a five course dinner for this event, with a Sixpoint beer specially selected to match with each food. The five Sixpoint beers for the evening are:
- Sixpoint Apollo
- Sixpoint Sweet Action
- Sixpoint The Crisp
- Sixpoint Righteous Ale
- Sixpoint Bengali Tiger
Sixpoint’s own Justin Malone will attend this event, ready to share his craft beer wisdom and answer questions. He, along with Rudyard’s own staff, will talk about the food, the beer, how/why the pairing selections were made, etc.
Space is limited for this event. To guarantee a seat, call Rudyard’s British Pub at 713-521-0521 and make a reservation as soon as possible.
