Kids get sent home from school for many reasons, but when the mom of a six-year boy found out why her son was sent home she was outraged.
Although six-year old Hunter Yelton had been warned in the past, it still did not prevent him from displaying public affection to a fellow classmate which resulted in a “sexual harassment” violation.
Yelton was suspended on Monday from Lincoln School of Science and Technology in Canon City, Colorado.
Hunter’s mom, Jennifer Saunders told KRDO that he had gotten in trouble before at school for kissing the same girl—she referred to as his girlfriend, on the cheek.
Hunter’s mom stated she has been working with him at home to deter the behavior, and even grounded him with “big restrictions.”
One major concern she has is that the sexual harassment violation is currently on Hunter's permanent record, and she is requesting that the incident be removed.
